How it works
It's always a good time teasing the bandwagon "fans" who mysteriously come out of the woodwork once the local team starts winning again.
The Bandwagon Hopper has no loyalty to a specific power. Instead of being tied down to the same old power each week, they prefer to hop over to whatever the top teams are doing!
Bandwagon Hopper has the choice to duplicate the power of either:
- The current 1st place team or
- The #1 overall scoring team in the previous week
What the budget means
Stronger powers start you with less money. In an Extreme league, a team holding Bandwagon Hopper drafts with $150 of auction budget against the $200 baseline. Either way it starts the season with $300 of free-agent bidding money. Choosing a power is choosing a trade-off.
