MANDATORY WEEKLY DROPS
+- Every team MUST release 3 players into free agency each week
- Team with the lowest score for the week MUST release 4 players
- Team with the highest score for the week MUST release 2 players
- Teams who are warehousing a player for another team will return that player before next week’s drops and will then drop 2 additional players. This will equal the 3 players they must release for the week.
- Exception: if a team sending back a warehoused player before drops (-1) also receives a warehoused player back from another team (+1) then these cancel out and that team must still drop 3 players.
- End result must be NET -3 players after drops are complete
- Managers will select their mandatory player drops from their active roster by Tuesday at 2pm ET each week
- Managers who fail to pick their drops by the deadline will automatically be fined $20 FAAB and receive a warning message to choose their drops ASAP
- Managers who still fail to pick their drops by Tuesday at 5pm ET will have drops chosen for them
-
WEEKLY WAIVERS
+- Each manager starts with $500 FAAB for the entire season unless that manager’s superpower denotes otherwise
- Every $1 left over from the draft auction turns into $5 in additional FAAB to be used during the season
- Managers submit FAAB bids for the players they wish to try and pick up from free agency
- All bids must be submitted by Wednesday at 1pm ET
- Waiver bid ties (same $ amount bid by multiple teams) will be broken by reverse standings (lowest team in overall standings wins the tiebreaker)
- Remaining free agents are available right after waivers run
-
TEAM TO TEAM TRANSACTIONS
+- Warehousing: with limited bench spots available to weather bye weeks and injuries, teams can offer to warehouse or "store" another team’s player for compensation
- Player Rentals: teams can offer to rent another team’s player for compensation
- Rentals are done on a weekly basis (not permanent like a trade)
- Warehoused & rented players will be returned at the end of the week so they can be included in weekly drop decisions for the following week
-
PICKING TEAM SUPERPOWERS
+- Once a league is full, a randomized lottery will take place that will draw each team in a 1-12 order. The first team drawn gets first pick of superpowers, second team gets the next pick of what superpowers remain, etc.
- Managers will have a time limit to reply with their choice before they are skipped and go to the back of the line
- The following information is provided for each superpower:
- Power Abilities
- Power Weaknesses
- Power Declaration Deadline
- Power Rentability
- Power Blockability
- Auction draft budget & starting FAAB budgets differ based on the strength of each power
-
USING SUPERPOWERS
+-
Superpowers with weekly choices/declarations MUST make that choice by Thursday at 10am ET
- Failing to choose by this time will void the superpower for that particular week
- Power choices are kept secret from all players until Thursday 10am ET when the weekly “Breaking News” bulletin will announce all powers simultaneously
- One team can rent/use multiple powers in a single week however most powers do not combine to significantly enhance each other
-
Superpowers with weekly choices/declarations MUST make that choice by Thursday at 10am ET
-
PLAYOFFS
+-
Six teams will make the Championship Bracket
- #1-4 seeds: top 4 W/L records
- #5 seed: the team outside the top 4 with the most total season points
- #6 seed: the remaining non-playoff team that scores the most points in Weeks 13+14 combined
- The 6 remaining teams will play in the Consolation Bracket
- Teams with a 1st round playoff bye cannot rent/warehouse players or powers to affect other playoff matchups for the 1st round of the playoffs
- Playoff power/player rentals can only be done within their respective bracket
- Superpowers will be “shut off” once a team is out of playoff contention (Championship Bracket & Consolation Bracket)
- Eliminated teams will no longer make weekly drops or be able to add from free agency
-

RULE CLARIFICATIONS / GRAY AREAS
+-
With all the possible power combinations, there will be many instances where a gray line must be debated and ruled on
- The commissioner(s) of each individual league will be tasked with that job if questions/gray areas come up.
